The Position: Experienced cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison (MSL), field-based; candidate must be located within one of the territories.
Responsibilities:
- Engage cardiologists/endocrinologists/healthcare professionals/stakeholders to educate on clinical and scientific evidence.
- Educate on RNAi technology and diseases including hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
- Synthesize and communicate clinical/scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
- Attend and present at scientific congresses/meetings.
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries per MSL compliance standards.
- Support company-sponsored clinical trials via investigator site engagement.
- Support speaker training; ensure speakers have up-to-date disease/product data.
- Support national/regional/local congresses including Opinion Leader engagement.
- Monitor/analyze publications, clinical trials, and competitive landscape.
- Maintain clinical/scientific expertise and industry business acumen.
- Develop territory-specific Opinion Leader (OL) and account plans.
- Communicate information accurately; document MSL accomplishments.
- Provide scientific support for Med Info inquiries.
- Develop scientific content for medical education initiatives.
- Support Medical Affairs with special projects; manage cross-functional relationships.
Requirements:
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO (required)
- 5 years of experience as an MSL
- Cardiometabolic therapeutic experience
- Industry Medical Affairs experience (biotech/pharma)
- High verbal/written communication; collaboration skills
- Ability to interpret scientific data and translate findings
- Identify unmet local/regional medical, educational, and research needs
- Understanding of healthcare delivery (including managed care)
- Understanding research design/execution and strategic implications
- Proven results orientation; comfort with ambiguity
- Strong project/time management; ability to travel
Pay Range: $190,000 USD - $210,000 USD
Candidates must have current, valid authorization to work in the country where this role is located.
