Cardiology Account Specialist - Miami, FL

Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed territory sales budgets; accountable for territory results.
- Drive utilization of approved products with HF specialists and other healthcare professionals across assigned accounts.
- Apply heart failure and marketplace knowledge to manage opportunities/challenges.
- Provide field-based input to the Regional Sales Director for strategic/tactical planning.
- Create and execute strategic customer/institutional territory plans.
- Execute marketing/sales initiatives to achieve objectives.
- Manage territory expenses within defined budgets; manage resources to achieve objectives.
- Conduct speakers programs (where permitted).
- Lead customer experience, satisfaction, and retention.
- Build deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders, and competition.
- Use sales reporting to identify territory potential and key HF stakeholders.
- Complete administrative/compliance tasks (healthcare compliance, expense reports, call reporting in Veeva CRM) by deadlines.

Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree (accredited 4-year).
- 5+ years healthcare sales experience (pharma specialty, hospital, medical device/diagnostics or in-kind); preference for cardiovascular categories.
- 1 year institutional sales preferred; IDN experience a plus.
- Top 30% performance ranking in 2 of last 5 years.
- Product launch experience; Medicare population experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills; polished meeting presenter.
- Ability to work a large geography; overnight travel as needed.
- Experience with HUB and specialty pharmacies.
- Medicare coverage determination facilitation OR extensive prior authorization experience.
- Proficient Microsoft Office; CRM experience.
- Satisfactory driving record per company policy.

Expectations:
- Up to full-time travel.

Pay Range:
- $112,000 - $168,000 per year.
