Role Summary

Cardiac Account Specialist (CAS) for Rare Cardiac in the Chicago area. Responsible for executing the sales strategy for Vyndamax per approved indications and ATTR-CM disease awareness, targeting healthcare providers across IDN/Health Systems and group practice accounts. Reports to the Area Business Manager and must adhere to all company policies and applicable regulations. Location: Remote - Field Based; Geography: Aurora, Naperville, Mount Prospect, and Rockford; travel may be domestic and overnight as required.

Responsibilities

  • Account Planning: Prioritize customer opportunities and projects; develop territory business objectives and KPIs aligned to brand objectives; maintain active customer profiles and plans; continually refine call planning based on territory factors.
  • Hybrid Execution / Advanced Selling Skills: Utilize advanced selling approaches; navigate complex local markets; align messaging with customer priorities; adapt messaging for specialists and care teams; build relationships with key stakeholders; educate customers on ATTR-CM and diagnostic procedures; demonstrate brand value; implement approved educational programs; manage change agility.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with other customer facing teams; work with subject matter experts to accelerate responses; collaborate with Rare Disease ROC members as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates Business Acumen: Gather customer insights; apply market and customer data to planning; prioritize resource utilization; share insights with HQ teams to inform materials.

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience; Strong teamwork and collaboration; Strong analytical skills with ability to apply market insights to sales planning; Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight; Valid US driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Preferred: Rare Disease and/or Specialty Cardiovascular experience; Product launch experience; Hospital sales experience; Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to influence and present ideas effectively.

Education

Additional Requirements

  • Work Location: Remote - Field Based; Overnight travel required; travel domestically as needed.
  • Driving: Valid US driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
