Role Summary

Capital Projects Engineering Interns (Undergraduate) β€šΓ„Γ¬ 12-week internship in Gaithersburg, MD for undergraduate students in specified engineering disciplines. May 18, 2026 to August 7, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • For Projects in Development phase - work alongside the Project Technical Manager to drive design on a specific aspect of the project scope.
  • Track and drive completion of engineering deliverables produced by partnered A&E firm.
  • Report progress regularly with the Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with other Global Engineering Capital Project Interns on a process improvement project/initiative.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate sophomores and juniors majoring in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
  • Expected graduation date after August 2026.
  • Understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
  • Not providing CPT support.
  • Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 3-5 days a week, with some onsite days involving regional travel to partner A&E firms.
  • Not providing relocation assistance.
  • Compensation range: $37 β€šΓ„Γ¬ $39/hr.
