Role Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivery of major CAPEX projects/programs (>5 Y) through completion of PPQs in the assigned region, ensuring safe execution, on-time delivery, within budget, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Provide functional leadership and accountability for site-based Project Managers.
- Support regional CAPEX portfolio management with visibility, prioritization input, and alignment with business objectives.
- Contribute to CAPEX planning (LRP, MRP, MYC, LBE) with regional inputs and execution readiness aligned to global governance.
- Deliver end-to-end assigned CAPEX projects/programs (>5 Y) through PPQs, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management; ensure handover for commercial operations.
- Lead and direct site Project Managers (solid/dotted line), deploy project management standards/tools/governance, monitor/report KPIs, manage risks/issues, resolve/escalate as needed, coordinate with Operations/Quality/EHS/Finance, support prioritization/resource allocation, and share lessons learned.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in engineering (Dipl. Ing./M.Sc./B.Sc.) or equivalent (mechanical/process/chemical or equivalent).
- 10+ years of experience in major investment projects in an international environment.
- English essential.

Skills/Experience (Preferred/Required as stated)
- Experience in investment projects in an international environment.
- Leadership managing internal/external resources internationally.
- Strong project management knowledge; successful contract management; ability to deliver safe, fully compliant projects.
- Communication skills to present to Senior Management.
- Technical experience in a GxP regulated environment; knowledge of chemical and/or pharmaceutical engineering operations.
- Drive for results, relationship/team building, and managing intercultural teams.
