Calibration Technician (On-site)

Work Schedule:
- Training: Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm for ~6 months
- After training: Wednesday–Saturday 2:00pm–12:30am
- Premium shifts: incentive pay (shift differential and/or weekend pay)

Responsibilities:
- Calibrate instrumentation (temperature, pressure, level, flow, analytical)
- Perform loop check, tune, troubleshoot, and start-up of instrumentation
- Work with medium/low voltages
- Perform basic plumbing and tube bending
- Assist Facilities Management-Maintenance (FM-M) and Clean Utility technicians with troubleshooting
- Complete daily Work Orders (WO) and Preventative Maintenance (PM); coordinate PM/WO workflow and documentation
- Communicate/coordinate with departments and Facilities Management for planned/unplanned work
- Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Occasionally perform other facility-related tasks outside normal calibration duties
- Plan/schedule outside contractors/vendors for PM or general work
- Ensure safe, efficient maintenance of plant manufacturing and support equipment per SOPs, cGMPs, and quality standards
- Participate in compliance investigations when necessary
- Full gowning required on the production floor
- Participate in rotation on-call schedule

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Willing and able to work Wednesday–Saturday 2:00pm–12:30am
- AAS degree, preferably in Engineering or Construction Technologies (ideal)
- Lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general familiarity with computer systems

Experience by Level:
- Calibration Technician II: 2+ years related experience OR HSD/GED with 5+ years
- Calibration Technician III: 5+ years related experience OR HSD/GED with 8+ years
- Calibration Technician IV: 8+ years related experience OR HSD/GED with 8+ years

Preferred:
- Prior experience maintaining/operating large-scale utilities plant
- ISA CCST Certification (strongly preferred, not required)

Skills:
- Basic problem-solving; learn and follow procedures independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility in a changing environment; strong written/verbal communication
- Effective time management to meet deadlines
