Operations
Calibration Technician (Tuesday–Saturday 10:00pm–8:30am; training Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm for ~6 months)
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate instrumentation (temperature, pressure, level, flow, analytical)
- Perform loop check, tune, troubleshoot, and start-up of instrumentation
- Work with medium and low voltages
- Perform basic plumbing and tube bending
- Assist Facilities Management-Maintenance (FM-M) and Clean Utility technicians troubleshooting facilities and process issues
- Perform daily Work Orders (WO) and Preventative Maintenance (PM); coordinate PM/WO workflow and documentation
- Communicate and coordinate with departments and Facilities Management for planned/unplanned work events
- Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Occasionally handle other facility-related tasks outside normal calibration duties
- Plan/schedule outside contractors/vendors for scheduled/non-scheduled PM or general work
- Ensure safe, efficient hands-on maintenance of plant manufacturing and support equipment in line with SOPs, cGMPs, and quality standards
- Participate in compliance investigations when necessary
- Complete full gowning when entering/working on the production floor
- Participate in rotation on-call schedule
Qualifications/Experience:
- AAS degree, preferably in Engineering or Construction Technologies related area
- Calibration Technician II: 2+ years related experience (or HSD/GED with 5+ years)
- Calibration Technician III: 5+ years related experience (or HSD/GED with 8+ years)
- Calibration Technician IV: 8+ years related experience (or HSD/GED with 8+ years)
- Prior maintenance/operation experience in large-scale utilities plant (preferred)
- ISA CCST Certification (strongly preferred, not required)
Required/Preferred Skills:
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and follow routine procedures independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility for a changing environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with computer systems
- Willing/able to work Tuesday–Saturday 10:00pm–8:30am
Benefits/Compensation:
- Premium shift incentive pay (shift differential and/or weekend pay)
- Salary range (hourly): $28.46–$44.42
