Role: Calibration Supervisor leading Anika’s site calibration program, overseeing equipment accuracy and compliance in a regulated life sciences environment. Responsibilities include managing calibration technicians and vendors, developing policies, maintaining calibration strategies and records, and ensuring audit readiness. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Facilities, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Metrology, and EHS, with a focus on continuous process improvement and team development. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; 7+ years in calibration, metrology, or quality systems within regulated biotech, pharma, or med device sectors; 2+ years of supervisory experience; strong knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Parts 820, 11, cGMP, and calibration standards; hands-on CMMS experience (Blue Mountain RAM preferred); excellent analytical and communication skills. Preferred: experience supporting medical device or biotech manufacturing, calibration program maturation, equipment qualification, and related certifications like ASQ or Six Sigma. The position is primarily on-site at Bedford, MA, with some hybrid flexibility.
