Role: Plant Systems Designer (CAD) supporting the development of SHINE's Chrysalis molybdenum-99 production facility, with a focus on designing and documenting process, mechanical, electrical, and civil systems. Responsibilities: create and modify 3D models and drawings of plant systems using tools like AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and SolidWorks; coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to incorporate technical feedback, resolve design conflicts, and ensure model accuracy; perform field walkdowns to verify as-built conditions. Requirements: associate degree in engineering or related field with 3-5 years of recent design experience, or a bachelorβs in mechanical engineering with relevant experience; proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and Navisworks Manage; experience designing piping and process systems from scratch; detail-oriented with strong communication skills. High-Value: design of process systems supporting isotope production, nuclear-enabled chemical processing, experience with piping design and clash detection, regulatory compliance considerations; onsite in Janesville, WI, with physical and environmental safety requirements. Work setup: onsite; physical ability to handle equipment and work in radiation-controlled areas.
