It also involves market trend analysis and compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of procurement experience supporting direct materials, with proficiency in MRP systems, supplier management, and contract negotiations. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with global sourcing, AS400, and a degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management. The position entails 10-20% domestic and international travel. High-value specifics include experience supporting regulated manufacturing environments within the medical device or eye health sectors, knowledge of raw material trends, sustainability, and compliance (e.g., REACH, RoHS). The role supports operational excellence, cost optimization, and strategic supplier development in a global eye health manufacturing context.
