Purpose
The Business Manager achieves sales goals in the assigned territory by driving adoption of 2D and 4D intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) in structural heart procedures, market share growth, and other key metrics. Develops the structural heart imaging market by identifying procedural opportunities, expanding ICE adoption into new IC programs, and transitioning from TEE-dependent workflows to ICE-guided procedures. Builds relationships with physicians, hospital/Cath lab staff, and key opinion leaders; acts as territory quarterback and indirectly leads a pod team.
Functional Responsibilities
- Partner with doctors and Cath lab administrators to set up equipment evaluations and resolve issues.
- Develop and execute selling strategies and strategic sales plans to achieve/exceed sales objectives.
- Own territory strategy: account prioritization, procedural targeting, and ICE adoption roadmaps.
- Create tactical/operational plans and communicate with UCASs, RBDs, and CV team.
- Lead/coordinate UCAS pod activity to drive product utilization and customer service.
- Provide product/procedural expertise and support new product introductions.
- Capture voice-of-customer insights for clinical science, medical affairs, marketing, and R&D.
- Communicate business issues/opportunities to next management.
- Partner to identify/resolve case issues and improve loyalty/outcomes.
- Ensure Health/Safety/Environmental and regulatory compliance; complete training and administrative duties.
- Stay current on emerging technology and facilitate customer adoption of new products/techniques.
Qualifications
- BA/BS + at least 7 years professional work experience.
- 5+ years sales experience in cardiovascular/vascular/interventional cardiology medical devices; selling/managing cardiac imaging structural heart products (ICE, TAVI, LAAO, TEER/TTVR, PFO, ASD) preferred.
- Documented sales awards/achievements preferred; prior management a plus; capital selling preferred.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills; matrixed organization experience; knowledge of healthcare regulations/compliance.
Requirements

- Complete company training; valid driverβs license; advanced computer skills; multitask.
- Field-based driving/walking; manage multiple projects.
- Travel up to 80%; may occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
