BTS Senior Engineer, Technology I

Role: Senior Engineer in Technology focused on digitalization of software lifecycle processes within a regulated biopharma environment. The primary objective is to develop and maintain an end-to-end IT controls framework, integrating regulatory compliance with modern software development practices. Responsibilities include designing, automating, and continuously improving controls across technology systems, leveraging AI for enhanced monitoring, and ensuring data integrity and audit readiness aligned with GAMP principles. The role requires translating regulatory requirements into technical specifications, embedding controls into CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining digital traceability for regulated systems. Collaboration with governance stakeholders and platform owners (e.g., Jira, GitHub, JFrog, ServiceNow) is essential, with a focus on automation and real-time compliance evidence collection. The engineer will support audit preparedness, facilitate compliance communication, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including validation and quality by design principles. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant industry experience or Master's with 5+ years; deep understanding of regulated industries such as pharma or medical devices; fluency in software development toolchains (GitHub, Jira, CI/CD platforms); ability to translate regulatory and technical requirements; experience embedding controls into DevOps workflows; and comfort bridging governance and engineering teams. Preferred: familiarity with AI governance, validation, and data integrity in regulated contexts.
