General Summary:
Biostatistics Associate Director will perform sophisticated scientific statistical analyses in support of Global Medicines Development and Affairs with minimal guidance. Deliver independent strategic and technical contributions with a drug developer mindset.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Conduct scientific/operational statistical work for multiple clinical trials, observational studies, or real world data (RWD).
- Lead biostatistics projects or major components, including work allocation and review.
- Present to Peer Protocol Review Committee (PPRC) or other internal senior review boards.
- Represent Biostatistics on cross-functional teams, providing specialized technical guidance.
- Author study Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and related deliverables (xFDR plan, Key Reports Memo, Data Dissemination Plan).
- Collaborate with statistical programming to ensure timely, high-quality table/figure/listing (TFL) delivery.
- Contribute to CSRs and related publications/posters; provide input into programming specifications and review.
- Support external interactions with regulators/payers/review boards.
- Determine and implement study/project design and analysis methods; participate in Statistical Review Forum (SRF) discussions.
- Independently undertake new/complex issues; contribute to advanced departmental working groups.

Knowledge And Skills:
- Staff management experience (typical).
- Advanced SAS and R; advanced drug-development statistical methods.
- Critical thinking/problem-solving; excellent communication; strong teamwork with non-statisticians.
- NDA/MAA experience; direct dealings with USA/European regulators.

Education And Experience:
- Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.
- Typically 7 years’ experience with a Ph.D. or equivalent.

Pay Range:
- $174,800 – $262,200.
