Biomedical Technician II - Shreveport, LA

Role: Biomedical Technician 2 responsible for on-site diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of hospital biomedical equipment to ensure healthcare delivery. Responsibilities: evaluate and troubleshoot equipment issues, perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections; adhere to regulatory and hospital policies; document all service activities; maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction; manage tools and test equipment to ensure accuracy; report quality or compliance concerns promptly. Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent military experience; minimum 2 years of healthcare equipment service experience; knowledge of electronic circuitry and schematic interpretation; ability to work after-hours or on-call, including weekends. Preferred: experience working with electrical, electronics, IT, or mechanical medical devices.
