Role: Biomedical Technician providing on-site service support for medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare facilities in the Sarasota/Bradenton FL area. Primary objectives include diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on biomedical devices to ensure compliance and safety. Responsibilities: evaluate equipment issues, execute repairs, conduct safety and environmental inspections, maintain documentation, and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications: an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of medical equipment service experience, or equivalent military training; or a high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience. Skills: knowledge of electronic circuitry, ability to interpret schematic diagrams, electro-mechanical understanding, and physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
