Role: Biomedical Equipment Technician responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on medical equipment within the Northshore region. Objectives include ensuring equipment functionality, safety, and compliance, thereby driving customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: conduct service calls, perform repairs and PM, assist with complex issues, document actions, communicate effectively with customers, support contractual and business goals, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; military experience; or 2+ years' service experience with electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment. Skills include technical troubleshooting, communication, and calibration. Preferred: formal biomedical service internship or externship. High-Value: focus on biomedical equipment, regulatory compliance, GxP, safety, and calibration; physical ability to lift 35 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions; flexibility for after-hours and on-call schedules; and adherence to quality standards. Location: Northshore, with potential for after-hours work and on-call rotation.
