Role: Field Biomedical Equipment Technician supporting GE Healthcare medical devices at customer sites in Deland FL, with responsibilities including evaluating, diagnosing, repairing, and performing planned maintenance on complex biomedical equipment. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, technical troubleshooting, and adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards. Responsibilities also include managing vendor service processes, maintaining inventory, training and guiding fellow technicians, and possibly acting as Site Leader. Qualifications: Associate's/Bachelor's in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or military experience servicing electrical/mechanical equipment; or high school diploma with 4+ years of experience. Skills: strong analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills; valid driverβs license; physical ability to lift 35 lbs; flexibility for after-hours and on-call schedules. Preferred qualifications include leadership experience, clinical/hospital setting exposure, proactive approach, and teamwork skills. High-Value: biomedical equipment service in clinical environments, safety and regulatory compliance, onsite customer support, with physical and logistical demands. Work Setup: onsite in Deland FL, with willingness to work in East FL division; travel as required.
