Role: Biomedical Technician 2 responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, repairing, and performing planned maintenance on customer biomedical equipment to ensure optimal operation and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include onsite equipment troubleshooting, executing maintenance and safety inspections, managing vendor services, documenting actions, and maintaining technical standards. May lead or assist other technicians and handle on-call duties to support service delivery. Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years experience servicing medical equipment, or equivalent military experience, or High School diploma with 4+ years related experience. Skills include strong analytical, communication, and technical troubleshooting abilities, with a valid driver’s license and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Preferred qualifications include formal technical training and certifications. High-value specifics: servicing medical equipment in a clinical setting, working onsite in the New Smyrna Beach FL area, physically able to lift 35 lbs, and adhering to healthcare quality and safety regulations. Work setup: onsite at customer locations with potential after-hours or rotating on-call responsibilities.
