Role: Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing planned maintenance on complex medical equipment to ensure operational safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: evaluate and resolve equipment issues, perform safety inspections, maintain documentation, manage vendor services, and lead or assist fellow technicians. May serve as Site Leader and participate in safety activities, supporting regional service delivery. Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field plus 2+ years of medical equipment servicing, or military experience; or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience. Skills: strong analytical, communication, and technical troubleshooting abilities; physical capacity to lift up to 35 lbs., perform standing and bending tasks, and good dexterity. High-value: servicing medical equipment in healthcare settings, with responsibilities covering both routine maintenance and complex repairs, working in a customer-facing, safety-compliant environment. Work setup: based in Midtown Atlanta, with travel to customer sites; relocation support provided; on-call rotation included.
