Role: Field Biomedical Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing planned maintenance on complex medical equipment to ensure operational reliability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include evaluating equipment issues, executing repairs, conducting safety inspections, maintaining documentation, managing spare parts and tools, and coordinating with vendors to support service delivery. The role may entail leading a team of technicians, providing technical guidance, and participating in on-call rotations. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience servicing medical devices; or equivalent military training with similar experience; or High School Diploma/GED plus 4+ years in medical equipment service. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills; physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs., perform physical tasks, and work flexible hours including after-hours and weekends. Preferred: Experience with hospital biomedical equipment, understanding of safety and environmental standards, and ability to effectively communicate technical issues. High-value specifics: Service and maintain complex medical equipment across various healthcare settings, adhering to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The position involves compliance with HHS, EHS, and other applicable regulations, and requires physical agility and flexibility to support critical healthcare infrastructure.
