Role: Field Biomedical Equipment Technician providing onsite repair, maintenance, and safety inspections of medical devices in hospitals within Tampa Bay/Zephyrhills. Responsibilities: evaluate equipment issues, perform repairs/PM, document actions, maintain tools, communicate with customers, ensure regulatory compliance, and support customer satisfaction. Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering or related; or military equivalent; or 2+ years experience servicing biomedical or technical equipment; strong communication skills; valid driver's license; ability to work rotating on-call shifts, including after-hours and weekends; compliance with background checks and immunization policies. HighValue: service of biomedical equipment, medical device regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, Joint Commission), technical troubleshooting, safety/environmental inspections, and calibration. WorkSetup: onsite at hospital locations in Tampa Bay/Zephyrhills, with physical ability to lift 35 lbs., perform manual tasks, and work in various physical positions. Preferred: healthcare or technical service experience, electronics/mechanical aptitude, reading technical schematics, familiarity with medical device regulations.
