Biomarkers Senior Research Lab Scientist (Ligand Binding Assays)

Role: Senior Research Lab Scientist in Biomarkers focused on developing and optimizing biomarker assays for clinical trials in a biotech setting. Responsibilities: design, execute, troubleshoot, and validate ligand binding and immunoassays (e.g., ELISA, Western blot) for use as endpoints in clinical studies; support reagent generation, collaborate with CROs on assay transfer and validation; interpret data and support biomarker strategy. Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent with 2–5 years post-doc or advanced degrees with relevant industry experience; strong hands-on expertise in assay development, validation under GLP/GCP; molecular and cell biology proficiency; effective collaborator and communicator. Preferred: experience with cell-based assays, genomic methods (qPCR, NGS), flow cytometry, and external CRO partnerships; understanding of translational medicine and biomarker strategies.
