Clinical Research and Development
Main Responsibilities
Scientific Leadership & Strategy
- Develop biomarker and precision medicine strategies for R&D projects
- Design approaches to implement biomarkers in clinical studies using platforms such as omics and bioimaging
- Translate biological pathways to clinical markers
- Review and interpret complex clinical and non-clinical data sets
- Identify and validate novel biomarkers for patient selection and monitoring

Project Execution & Management
- Lead translational medicine sub-teams and coordinate biomarker identification efforts
- Ensure timely execution of biomarker studies within budget constraints
- Select optimal platforms and methodologies for biomarker data generation
- Monitor study progress and troubleshoot technical challenges
- Maintain project documentation and regulatory compliance

Collaboration & Communication
- Work with multidisciplinary teams (research scientists, clinicians, data scientists)
- Engage with external key opinion leaders and research partners
- Present strategies/results at internal and external meetings
- Contribute to regulatory documents and scientific publications
- Support business development activities related to biomarker strategies

About You
Required Qualifications
- MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with 5+ years in translational and/or clinical research
- Immunology expertise (preferably dermatologic and/or respiratory diseases)
- Strong knowledge of biomarker development/implementation in clinical trials
- Experience with biomarker platforms and technologies
- Proven translational research track record
- Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications
- Bioinformatics and computational methods
- Biomarker assay development for clinical use
- Relevant therapeutic-area publication record
- Regulatory interaction experience

Working Conditions
