Biologist in Immunology Discovery Research

Role: Immunology research scientist focused on developing and validating cell-based functional assays to support preclinical studies of biological and small molecule therapeutics for immunological diseases. Responsibilities: design experiments with primary human, monkey, and mouse lymphocytes; employ techniques such as flow cytometry, cytokine assays, western blot, qPCR, and imaging; analyze and interpret data; investigate cytokine/receptor signaling pathways; and perform gene knockdown/transfection studies. Requirements: B.S. or M.S. in biology or related field; 2-3 years of immunology and molecular biology research experience; expertise in lymphocyte handling and flow cytometry preferred; authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
