Responsibilities
- Own a dedicated caseload of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients; primary point of contact for patients and HCPs from onboarding through fulfillment and ongoing therapy.
- Resolve complex access/reimbursement and financial assistance scenarios across commercial/government payers, specialty pharmacies, BI/CPA vendors, and PAP/co-pay programs.
- Build and execute prioritized case plans using operational tools and data; navigate novel scenarios within approved work instructions; escalate appropriately.
- Identify adherence risks and tailor outreach cadence/channels to patient context and therapy stage.
- Provide advanced CF/CFTR modulator education within approved guidance; document interactions and complete timely follow-up.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to anticipate access needs; act as an internal SME and share compliant best practices (15β20%).
Qualifications / Requirements
- 3β4+ years relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience).
- Experience supporting CF and/or rare disease patients; comfort with sensitive conversations.
- Expertise in access/reimbursement navigation: benefit investigations, prior authorizations, appeals.
- Proven track record creating/executing strategic caseload business plans.
- Patient support and/or case management experience (pharmaceutical/biotech preferred); success managing complex cases with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Working knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory environment.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; sound judgment; ability to work independently.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint), Salesforce CRM or similar.
- Travel up to 15%.
- Motivational Interviewing experience (preferred).
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
