Role: Donor center staff responsible for donor registration, screening, education, and safety monitoring during plasma pheresis. Primary objectives include ensuring donor suitability, maintaining compliance with SOPs, and delivering excellent donor experience. Responsibilities: assist donors with self-administered health histories, perform health screenings (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature, finger stick), educate donors on plasma products, record data accurately, monitor for reactions, maintain a clean environment, and support center operations. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum three months experience in customer service, healthcare, or clerical roles; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions. Preferred: bilingual in English/Spanish, medical or healthcare experience, strong interpersonal skills. High-value specifics include exposure to blood-borne pathogens, OSHA/HSE compliance, manual dexterity tasks, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Work environment involves standing, walking, and working in a fast-paced setting with extended hours and potential hazards. The role reports to the Assistant Center Manager and may require overtime and cross-training.
