Responsibilities:
- Research and propose target and indication selection, and lead project initiation
- Design, develop and optimize in vitro immune cell functional assays
- Develop and evaluate genetically engineered primary T cells
- Potential to supervise and lead a team of 1β2 research technicians
- Collaborate cross-functionally within internal multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating lead isolation, generation and screening activities
- Manage project progress and timelines, and provide regular updates toward specific project objectives
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Immunology or Molecular Biology
- Strong hands-on laboratory skills
- Experience with immune cell model systems, in vitro assay development and drug candidate validation
- Demonstrated initiative in troubleshooting experiments and developing new methods and techniques
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills; enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment of rigorous science and innovative thinking
- Highly organized and self-driven in goal setting and execution
- Strong publication record or equivalent achievements in industry
