Bartender-10 Barrel Brewing

Job Description: Bartender at 10 Barrel Brewing—brand representative and beer educator. Welcome and care for guests at the bar and dining tables. Confidently speak about all beers on tap, spirits/cocktails, and food menu items. Pour drinks with proper technique, correct glassware and garnish, and deliver to tables in a timely manner. Work as part of a bar team.

Duties:
- Stock bar (liquor, juice, garnishes, glassware, plates, packaged beer) and keep updated menus
- Keep keg room clean/organized; change kegs
- Greet guests within 45 seconds; engage to find preferences and offer tastes
- Recommend/serve another beer before guests are empty
- Wait tables for cocktail service; bus and clean tables/bar
- Track drinks, start CC tabs, keep bar top tabs current
- Make drink tickets (target: <= 5 minutes)
- Check IDs; monitor intoxication and intervene as needed
- Do last call ~15 minutes before closing; close/transfer tabs
- Clean bar surfaces/bottles/glassware/floor; log incidents/changes for next shift

Qualifications/Skills:
- At least 19 years old
- Communicate effectively; positive attitude; teamwork
- Physical: stand up to 4 hours; reach/bend/stoop; lift up to 50 lbs
- TIPS certified
- Available 10:00am–1:00am; must work Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon; 5 shifts/week
- Handle money and POS
- Fast-paced environment; adaptability, planning, problem solving, multitasking
- Above-average drink knowledge; prepare cocktails (line-build to garnish)
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible
- Minimum 2 years full-service bar/pub experience

Pay/Benefits:
- $7.25 + tips; weekly tip out; benefits eligibility; shift meals; $3 craft beers when off shift.
