BAI - Competitive Intelligence Manager, Cardiovascular
Responsibilities:
- Lead competitive intelligence (CI) gathering for US and Global marketing teams supporting Amgen’s cardiovascular portfolio.
- Synthesize multi-source inputs to form strategic insights on competitive developments and required actions.
- Partner cross-functionally; manage changing priorities across key customers.
- Develop integrated analysis plans using standard methodologies.
- Collect, analyze, and report CI using primary/secondary data; communicate impact of market dynamics.
- Facilitate strategic and red-team exercises to generate insights and company plans.
- Coordinate CI at major medical conferences; attend and support CI debriefs.
- Manage primary data sources (vendors and Amgen employees); collaborate with fellow CI leads.
- Ensure deliverable accuracy and appropriate evidence levels; present analyses and recommendations regularly.
- Enforce CI Legal and Ethical Guidelines.
- Travel 15–20%.
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree
- OR Master’s degree + 2 years consulting/CI experience
- OR Bachelor’s degree + 4 years consulting/CI experience
- OR Associate’s degree + 8 years consulting/CI experience
- OR High school diploma/GED + 10 years consulting/CI experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD/MS/MBA focused on life sciences and business
- Cardiovascular life science consulting experience
- Biopharma industry familiarity and cardiovascular disease area knowledge
- Strategy/management consulting experience with increasing responsibility
- Strong strategic/data analysis, communication, project management, and collaboration skills
