AWS Cloud Application Engineer (Hybrid)

Role Summary

AWS Cloud Application Engineer (Hybrid) responsible for investigating, identifying, and implementing state-of-the-art technology platforms to drive productivity and efficiency across multiple business areas. Act as a Cloud Application Engineer and critically evaluate technological advances, integrating them into new business technology solutions. This position is located onsite in Lake County.

Responsibilities

• Directly involve in the design and operation of large-scale cloud services (AWS), including troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, quickly understand existing systems, and work in agile environments
• Build Cloud Native Services using REST APIs, microservices architectures, and containerized technologies
• Contribute to high-scale distributed systems and fault-tolerant design
• Develop Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
• Develop the software development lifecycle, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments
• Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable policies, data security, and the software development lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience in Information Technology
• Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong hands-on technology experience developing applications on AWS cloud
• Proven implementation of creative technology solutions that advanced the business
• Experience working with Java, Python or other modern programming languages
• A passion to learn new software technologies
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
