Role: Automation Technician supporting Lilly's new manufacturing site in Concord, North Carolina, with a focus on automated equipment performance, process support, and process improvements in parenteral (injectable) medication manufacturing. Responsibilities: ensure equipment operates safely and in compliance with cGMPs; perform maintenance activities; collaborate with engineers and operations to develop equipment procedures, conduct troubleshooting, and lead small project initiatives; identify operational improvements based on equipment data; communicate effectively across teams; support commissioning, qualification, and validation efforts. Requirements: High school diploma/GED, at least 2 years of automation experience, authorization to work in the U.S., and background check clearance. Preferred skills: GMP manufacturing experience, instrumentation, PLC/HMI programming, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, Maximo, knowledge of parenteral manufacturing, and experience with highly automated equipment, including B&R platforms. High-value specifics: support of sterile injectable manufacturing processes, automation, and equipment validation in a new state-of-the-art facility. Collaboration with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams. Work setup: full-time, on-site at the Concord site. Travel requirements are not specified.
