Automation Technician III - FP/CUB/IL (A-Shift)

Role: Process Control System Technician supporting aseptic fill & finish expansions within Product Supply at Novo Nordisk. Responsibilities: operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair process control hardware and systems (PLC, HMI, DCS, Historian, SCADA, MES); support system upgrades and installations; develop maintenance procedures; coordinate with vendors and internal teams; drive process improvements and ensure compliance with CGMP, safety, and quality standards. Requirements: Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of automated/process control system experience (or 12+ years with a high school diploma/GED); proficient in supporting and troubleshooting process control and automation systems, including PLC programming; strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work in cold, loud, confined, and elevated environments; flexibility for overtime and shift work. HighValue: experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries preferred; knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens PLCs, DeltaV, iFix, OSI PI, PAS-X, or MS SQL; supporting aseptic manufacturing environments.
