Automation Technician III - Finished Production/CUB/Intralogistics

The Position
- Assist in operation, maintenance, and system management of process control systems.
- Collaborate with the Manager to ensure processes are in place and people are trained to meet system uptime requirements.
- Champion strategic goals/objectives aligned with business plans and drive process improvements.
Essential Functions
- Support troubleshooting during process downtime.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair control system hardware.
- Perform routine/preventative/predictive maintenance; assist with maintenance procedures.
- Support control system equipment installations and manage control system hardware inventory.
- Schedule and execute maintenance plans with production schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to clarify technical needs and implement improvements.
- Maintain and improve process control systems; adhere to automation/IT standards and training readiness.
- Coach/train colleagues; develop training materials as needed.
- Use cLEAN tools to solve problems/improve processes; implement improvements with minimal guidance.
- Follow Quality mindset (risk management/mitigation), CGMPs, Change Management standards, and safety/environment requirements.
Qualifications (Required)
- Associateβs degree in Electronics/Computers/Engineering (or relevant) + 8 years automated/process control experience; or GED + 12 years.
- Proficiency supporting/maintaining process control systems.
- MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Troubleshooting of automated/IT issues (interfaces/hardware).
- One or more: PLC (Rockwell/Siemens), HMI, PCS/DCS (DeltaV/iFix), Historian (OSI PI/iBatch), SCADA, MES (Syncade/PAS-X), MS SQL.
- Troubleshooting PLC programming.
Preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/food/cosmetic/beverage or related industries.
