Automation Technician I

Role: Support operation, maintenance, and system management of process control systems within aseptic production at Novo Nordisk, focusing on fill & finish expansion activities. Responsibilities: troubleshoot process downtime, repair control hardware, perform preventative maintenance, assist in system installation and inventory management, and support process improvements aligned with CGMP and safety standards. Requirements: Associate’s degree in Electronics, Computers, Engineering, or related field; 4+ years of relevant experience with instrumentation/control systems preferred. Technical skills: knowledge of PLC (Rockwell, Siemens), HMI, PCS/DCS (DeltaV, iFix), Historian (OSI PI, iBatch), SCADA, MES (Syncade, PAS-X), and MS SQL; troubleshooting experience with automation/IT systems. High-value: focus on aseptic fill & finish expansion, process control systems support, compliance with GMP, and cross-site global operations. Work setup: onsite with physical demands including manual equipment handling, working at heights, and in noisy or cold environments.
