Automation Technician

Role: Automation Technician supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations, focusing on troubleshooting and maintaining GMP equipment such as PLCs and HMIs in a regulated environment. Responsibilities: provide technical support during routine manufacturing, troubleshoot automation issues, perform corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with data integrity standards; collaborate with manufacturing teams and work independently on the production floor. Requirements: experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and electrical control systems; knowledge of ladder logic, PID control, electrical schematics, and regulation standards; proficiency with digital multimeters and electrical diagnostics; ability to interpret technical documentation and adapt to new automation technologies. Preferred: experience with control systems, MES, data historians, and regulated manufacturing environments. High-Value: biopharma manufacturing, GMP compliance, automation platforms, electrical control systems, and working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Work setup: onsite in Rensselaer, NY, with a rotating on-call schedule; shift in 2nd shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 4:00PM-12:30AM).
