Automation Senior Engineer II

Role: Automation Engineer supporting GMP manufacturing control systems, focusing on equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, lifecycle management, and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities: configure and maintain PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and data historians; support validation, change control, vulnerability assessments, and system integrations; prepare documentation and coordinate contractor activities; escalate risks to leadership. Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering, Automation, or related field; 8+ years in industrial controls with experience in Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI, Kepware, and AVEVA PI Historian; knowledge of GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, validation, and controlled documentation; strong troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration skills.
