Operations
The Position
- Ensure new processes & equipment are compliant with line-of-business and global standards.
- Collaborate on design so equipment meets URS/IFA and is ready for install, qualification, and successful ramp-up.
- Improve reliability of process control systems to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements; serve as gatekeeper for standards.

Essential Functions
- Ensure process design compliance with local/global standards.
- Develop interface agreements and align requirements with equipment vendors.
- Develop/implement plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
- Schedule/execute plans with manufacturing schedules.
- Assist with expense budgets for maintaining/improving process control systems.
- Develop/maintain automation standards, specifications, and maintenance plans.
- Own development to understand site process control systems.
- Support audits/inspections as SME; coach/train colleagues and stakeholders.
- Use cLEAN tools (systematic problem solving, process improvement, project management).
- Operate with risk-management quality mindset; implement change management.
- Support corporate/IT/local stakeholder initiatives and projects.
- Help develop SOPs, best practices, and maintenance procedures.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in engineering/related field required.
- Or: 7+ years engineering experience (process-based manufacturing, utility, and/or packaging systems).
- Or: High school/GED with 9+ years experience.
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience.
- Preferred (Logistics only): warehouse automation (AS/RS, AGVs, AMRs, conveyors).
- Knowledge: SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL (databases), Historian; controls/general controls a plus; SAP EWM a plus.
- Proven project planning/organization and execution experience required.
- cLEAN/Six Sigma methods: plus.
