Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure process control systems for existing/new equipment/processes align with local and global standards.
- Partner with equipment vendors to specify equipment requirements/IFA so equipment connects to and is usable in local manufacturing; act as a gatekeeper for standards.
- Maintain and improve process control systems; schedule/execute plans with manufacturing schedules.
- Serve as automation resource on projects involving process control systems.
- Understand site process control systems; adhere to automation standards and implement changes to automation specifications and maintenance plans.
- Support audits/inspections for process control systems.
- Apply cLEAN tools for systematic problem solving, process improvement, and project management.
- Ensure compliance with quality risk management and implement effective change management.
- Support corporate/PS/local IT/local stakeholder initiatives; develop SOPs, best practices, and maintenance procedures.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in engineering or related field (required).
- Minimum 3 years engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, and/or packaging systems (required).
- May accept Associateโs degree with 5+ years experience, or HS/GED with 7+ years experience.
- Knowledge of SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL (databases), Historian (general controls a plus); SAP EWM a plus.
- For Logistics roles only: warehouse automation equipment (plus).
