The Position:
- Work with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure process control systems for existing and/or new equipment and processes align with local and global standards.
- Work with equipment vendors to specify equipment (IFA) and requirements, ensuring equipment can connect to and be used in local manufacturing; serve as gatekeeper for standards.

Relationships:
- Reports to Manager, Senior Manager.

Essential Functions:
- Support plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
- Schedule and execute plans in coordination with manufacturing schedules.
- Serve as an automation resource on projects involving process control systems.
- Own self-development to understand site process control systems.
- Adhere to automation standards and implement necessary changes to automation-related specifications and maintenance plans.
- Support audits and inspections for process control systems.
- Use cLEAN tools within Systematic Problem Solving, process improvement, and project management.
- Operate with a Quality Mindset focused on risk management and mitigation.
- Implement effective change management.
- Support Corporate, PS, local IT, and local stakeholder initiatives/projects.
- Participate in development of new SOPs, best practices, and maintenance procedures.
- Follow safety and environmental requirements; other accountabilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in an open office environment; travel up to 10%.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering or related field (required); alternatives: Associateโ€™s (5+ years) or High School/GED (7+ years).
- 3+ years engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, and/or packaging systems (required).
- Logistics roles only: warehouse automation equipment a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL (databases), Historian; general controls a plus; SAP EWM a plus.
- Planning/organization/execution expertise and ability to use cLEAN/Six Sigma are a plus.
