Automation Engineer I (FP Engineer)

Role: Automation Engineer supporting process control systems within aseptic fill & finish expansions at Novo Nordisk. Responsibilities: ensure process control systems meet local and global standards, collaborate with vendors on equipment specifications, support system improvements, lead automation-related project activities, conduct audits, and contribute to SOP and best practice development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or relevant experience with alternative education), minimum 3-7 years in process manufacturing, utility, or packaging systems. Technical skills in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, and SQL are preferred; experience with warehouse automation tools is a plus. Experience in validation, compliance, and risk management within GxP environments is essential. High-Value: focus on aseptic manufacturing, process automation, and system validation in a regulated biotech/pharma setting. Work setup: onsite with up to 10% travel, supporting global expansion projects.
