Operations
Role: Automation Engineer supporting design, implementation, and qualification of automation systems for GMP drug substance manufacturing facilities and labs. Responsibilities: develop I&C design packages, configure DCS/PLC systems (DeltaV, Foxboro, Allen-Bradley), oversee FAT/SFAT/SAT, troubleshoot instrumentation, and support commissioning activities; ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and CSV practices; collaborate with cross-functional teams including process engineering, maintenance, and plant operations; drive continuous improvement and maintain engineering documentation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field; 2+ years of engineering or operational experience, preferably in biopharma, biologics, or medical devices; technical knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, project lifecycle, and regulatory compliance; strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: experience with health care or biologics manufacturing, project management, and engineering standards. High-Value: supporting upstream/downstream GMP processes, automation systems configuration, validation, and troubleshooting within a regulated biopharma environment. Work setup: onsite or hybrid with 24x7 support and on-call availability.
