About The Role
Seeking a talented and experienced Audio Specialist/AV Technician to join our Conference Rooms, Production and Studio Operations team within Information Technology. This role ensures seamless audiovisual experiences across the enterprise, supporting live events, conference room operations, video production, and unified communication services. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in professional AV equipment with strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent communication skills.

What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and maintain sound and recording equipment for broadcasts, video shoots, and studio productions.
- Install, configure, and operate audio mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and recording software.
- Manage sound levels, conduct sound checks, and record audio for live shows, studio sessions, and video shoots.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems including sound systems, projectors, video displays, and microphones.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for conference room AV systems and video conferencing platforms.
- Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and performance monitoring of all AV equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Set up and configure multi-camera production environments for live streaming and recording.
- Install and build out conference rooms with complete AV systems.
- Configure Cisco collaboration technologies and unified communication endpoints.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV system issues in conference rooms.
- Provide guidance and training to colleagues on Cisco videoconferencing equipment, Zoom, Teams, and WebEx.

Who You Are
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in audio production, AV engineering, and live event support.

You Are Or You Have
- Expertise in professional audio equipment, including Dante networking, Aventis audio board, microphone systems, and sound reinforcement.
- Demonstrated experience with Cisco Unified Collaboration portfolio including WebEx/WebEx Calling, Unified CM, Expressway, IP Phones, and Video Endpoints.
- Knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx with ability to troubleshoot and guide users.
- Experience with multi-camera setups, Blackmagic Studio cameras, video switching, and live streaming technologies.
- Strong understanding of audio techniques for professional video production.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities for both hardware and software AV issues.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Nice To Have (but Not Required)
- Technical degree or certification in Audio-Visual Technology, Broadcasting, or related field preferred.
- Professional AV certifications (e.g., CTS - Certified Technology Specialist) beneficial.

Where You’ll Work / Travel
- Full-time, in-person role based out of Bridgewater, NJ office.
- Minimal travel expected.

Pay Range
- $48.00–61.00 Hourly
