Associate Technician, Operations

Role: Bio Process Operations Technician supporting aseptic vaccine manufacturing in a start-up facility. Primary objectives include executing manufacturing operations such as primary filling, inspection, packaging, and CIP/SIP, ensuring GMP and EHS compliance. Responsibilities encompass equipment setup, troubleshooting, performing routine disinfection, documentation, and maintaining safety standards. The role involves collaboration with maintenance technicians and cross-functional teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and reliable process execution. Requirements include a high school diploma, 0-1 years GMP manufacturing experience (preferably aseptic), ability to work independently and in a team, and proficiency with computerized systems. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or bio-pharma certifications, experience with aseptic filling and equipment troubleshooting, and knowledge of regulated environments and cGMPs. High-value biopharma specifics involve vaccine manufacturing, aseptic processing, and GMP compliance, with a focus on sterile fill/finish processes. The position reports to the Maintenance & Operations Manager, works 8-hour evening shifts, and is based in Wilson, NC, with no travel expected.
