Responsibilities:
- Implement day-to-day media relations and influence across traditional and emerging platforms (pitches, inbound inquiries, reporter relationships).
- Contribute to enterprise media/influence strategy using audience- and data-first insights to improve trust and outcomes.
- Create modern media strategies for landmarks, product launches, and media events.
- Build and cultivate a modern media ecosystem and β€œrolodex” across new verticals/platforms (journalists, creators, podcasters, newsletter/substack/reddit authors, influencers).
- Develop and pitch proactive stories connecting pipeline/business performance/corporate initiatives to patient impact; support senior narrative/pitching.
- Support product announcements and high-stakes media events (plans/materials, spokesperson prep, post-event follow-up).
- Prepare executives/SMEs for media (briefing materials, talking points, Q&As; support interviews/bylines/podcasts/speaking).
- Partner with global communications counterparts to align storytelling with audiences.
- Track coverage/sentiment/share of voice/message pull-through and use analytics to show impact.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
- 4+ years in communications, media relations, or public relations.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not provided).

Preferred:
- Experience building media/influence strategies across traditional and emerging platforms.
- Fortune 500/healthcare/pharma/newsroom experience (in-house or agency).
- Strong media rolodex (creators/podcasters/newsletters/influencers).
- Proficiency with audience data, social listening, and media analytics; translating complex topics into narratives.
