Associate Specialist, Security

Role: Operational Shift Team Lead for Emergency Response, Safety & Security, managing site safety, emergency, and security operations. Responsibilities: oversee shift activities, conduct incident assessments, respond to hazardous material spills, lead fire protection tests, manage security systems, and coordinate training and drills. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; Firefighter I-III and EMT certifications; minimum 7 years firefighting experience, preferably in an officer role; proficiency with safety equipment and communication tools; ability to work under high-stress conditions and in various weather. Preferred: Hazmat Technician, NFPA 25, OSHA training, rescue certifications, experience with industrial utilities, and incident command. High-Value: industrial site environment, chemical spill response, fire suppression, hazardous materials management, compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards, 10% travel, shift work including holidays and weekends. Collaboration includes internal teams, external emergency agencies, and vendors. Work setup: shift-based, rotating schedule.
