Associate Specialist, Engineering

Role: Associate Specialist – Process/Facility Engineer supporting the MACS Operations team at Rahway, NJ, focusing on the setup and commissioning of a new multi-modality drug substance GMP manufacturing facility for potent compounds. Responsibilities: contribute to equipment/facility design, commissioning, qualification, and GMP documentation; support process development, compliance investigations, and change management; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Process R&D, Analytical, Quality, and Safety; potentially support pilot plants and prep labs for small molecule, biologics, and cross-modality programs. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field; effective communication, organizational, problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, experience in GMP environment preferred. High-Value: involvement in the development and startup of a cutting-edge, multi-modality drug substance facility; supporting GMP manufacturing, process scale-up, and process hazard analyses; experience with potent compound containment systems, GMP compliance, and automation systems. WorkSetup: onsite at Rahway, NJ, with approximately 10% travel.
