Associate, Software Engineer SCDT

Role: Associate, Software Engineering within Alcon's Supply Chain Analytics team, focused on designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions to support supply chain decision-making. Responsibilities: build and optimize ETL workflows using tools like Alteryx, Looker, and Glue; develop data pipelines; craft complex SQL queries; write Python scripts for data processing; create interactive dashboards with Tableau or Power BI; apply statistical and machine learning techniques for forecasting, trend analysis, and operational optimization; collaborate with supply chain partners to translate analytical needs into technical solutions; develop predictive models and conduct experimental testing; participate in code reviews and ensure data quality and compliance with GxP standards. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; 3+ years relevant experience; proficiency in ETL tools, SQL, Python, and data visualization platforms; strong communication skills; on-site in Fort Worth, TX, with 0-10% travel. Preferred: advanced SQL skills, experience with data analysis libraries, and BI tools.
