Associate Scientist, Sample Logistics

Role: Sample Logistics coordinator within Pfizer Vaccine R&D, responsible for sample receipt, documentation, storage, tracking, aliquoting, distribution, and disposal in compliance with GXP and regulatory standards. Core duties include managing samples from clinical trial sites, entering data into electronic systems, operating manual and automated storage (BiOS, Hamilton robot), and resolving shipment discrepancies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant science, 0-3 years’ pharma experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to work in a lab environment and handle biological materials, including lifting up to 10 lbs. Preferred skills include familiarity with cGMP/GLP practices and sample management systems. High-value biopharma specifics: supporting clinical trials for vaccines, working in regulated GXP environment, sample handling and logistics, with possible interaction with laboratories and regulatory compliance.
