Associate Scientist - Protein Development

Role: Protein Reagents Scientist supporting therapeutic protein programs through purification and biochemical characterization of proteins and antibodies in a fast-paced, collaborative laboratory setting. Responsibilities: perform affinity, ion-exchange, hydrophobic interaction, and size-exclusion chromatography; characterize proteins via Western blot, SDS-PAGE, SEC, and spectrophotometry; document and analyze data using Benchling; communicate results effectively to cross-functional teams. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 2+ years or Master's in biology, biochemistry, or related field; proficiency in protein characterization techniques; strong foundation in protein chemistry; excellent communication and documentation skills; proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Preferred: experience operating ÄKTA or comparable chromatography systems; familiarity with method development and troubleshooting; proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, GraphPad); experience preparing technical presentations; familiarity with chromatography hardware and ELN systems.
