Associate Scientist, Protein Characterization

Role: Associate Scientist, Protein Characterization supporting biotherapeutics discovery and development at Insmed. Responsibilities: perform protein analytical techniques to optimize formulation and stability, support tech transfer activities, and contribute to biological characterization across various therapeutic areas. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field with 4+ years (or Master’s with 3+ years) of relevant experience; strong understanding of protein biotherapeutics, stability, and formulation; experience with standard analytical/biophysical methods (DLS, SEC-MALS, CD, fluorescence, DSC). Preferred: experience with automated chromatography systems and multi-dimensional purification; publication record is a plus. High-Value: biologics pipeline, early discovery to candidate nomination, protein stability and formulation challenges, hands-on lab work, minimal travel, based in Bridgewater, NJ with full-time onsite work. Collaboration: cross-functional team support; reporting to Senior Director, Research. Work setup: full-time, in-person at Bridgewater, NJ; minimal travel.
